Ian Balina who is one of the crypto influencer and well known investors among crypto enthusiasts, he made $4 million profit in less than a year last year which was quite amazing and covered by several news outlet like this CLICK HERE to read . He recently got hacked and he have recently started tweeting in the effort to gather forces and fight against the hacker.
In the series of 4 tweet he first claimed he was hacked by Lizard squad and also the same group was involved in numerous hacks on other private investors and companies including bithumb exchange. But later he corrected his claim and started to blame independent hackers who goes by name Veri and Doc. He also blamed phone carrier’s employees taking bribe from hackers in exchange for crypto investors details.
1/ Update on my hack. We believe it was a hacker group going by the name “Lizard Squad.” They’ve been behind numerous attacks on other people and companies in the crypto space. We’ve received intel the same hackers are responsible for hacking Bithumb exchange.
